Five For Friday- Productivity and a FLASH Freebie!! :o)

Honestly, if it wasn't for people posting Five For Fridays, I wouldn't know what day it is! :-P I tell you what though, this summer is going by way too fast! :(
I started working out again this week for the first time in...... well...... too long to even figure out. It's bad. And sadly, I've been paying for my gym membership every month and haven't gone. Apparently, you have to GO for it to work, not just pay. :-P  Needless to say, I was sore this week. But it will be worth it!
I was contacted a while back by ePals, Tools for School to see if I was interested in helping to launch their website. The company is similar to the other websites we use to share and sell our resources, so I thought, hey, why not!? It will launch at the end of the month, so be looking for it!
I created two products this week! I am so proud of myself for being productive!! I really need to work on my math units though- updating my old ones AND creating a couple new ones. So I guess I can even procrastinate in my productivity. LOL
This is one of my products I made... an EDITABLE Sub Binder! I figured out how to do the editable thing... so it comes as a PDF and PPT so you can fill it in by hand OR type in all your information! I will be working out in the yard today and I've decided this product will be a FLASH FREEBIE until I'm done in the yard today!! I'm done working in the yard! Thanks so much for all the lovely feedback!!  :o)
My other product I created is for a Bubble Gum Day for 3rd and 4th Graders! It includes a reading comprehension passage, a math board game, a grammar sort, a graphing activity, and a writing piece! It's definitely enough to fill a day (or more)!! :o)

You can Pin It to Win It in yesterday's post!! Go check it out- winners will be announced tomorrow! In that same post, I also asked for help with my Mentor Sentences- if you are a lover and a user of these units, please take a minute to answer one question for me at the bottom of my post yesterday. :o) Thanks!
As I mentioned, I'm going to spend today working in my yard... when I bought my house last Fall, it was a foreclosure and no one had lived in the house for a couple of years... so I think the neighbors started using my yard as "landfill" for their yard trash. Sigh. There are some serious tree limbs that need to be cut, too. Hopefully I'll have some good "after" pictures though! :o)

I want to try to get it cleaned up so it looks better for the sod I'll be getting soon, too!!

PS Have I mentioned I used to HATE working in the yard? It's so different when it's your own house, isn't it? :o)

  1. I feel your pain on the working out. I just took a week off while I went to the Outer Banks, and you would have thought I hadn't run in years! I felt the same way about ePals. Why not, right? Can't hurt! At least there are fellow bloggers there! Good luck with the yard work. That is definitely not my thing!

  2. I don't have a house, but I doubt I'd want to work on the yard either. I don't even want to work in the kitchen lol. Thank you for the sub freebie! I paid for a gym membership for at least a year until my husband finally gave up and cancelled my portion of it...oh well...I still have no desire to go, but kudos to you for stepping up!

  3. Thanks for the sub binder binder! And working in the yard is REAL working out, don't forget to count it as such:)!

  4. Our house is on one acre that used to be trees, no bushes, no nothing! (Of course, it does take forever to mow.)

Thanks for the freebie...downloaded & left feedback.

  5. Agreed! I love working in the yard now that it's MY yard.

  6. I'm right there with ya on the sore muscles! I was soooo busy at the end of the school year that I took about a month off from working out! Now between starting up again and the endless yard work I can barely move!! ...just took two Tylenol and a "blogging break"! :)

I'm off to check out your Bubble Gum Day Product...might as well embrace gum chomping day and be productive...right?

  7. Thanks for the sub freebie! I had a sub binder on my summer to do list so this is great! Good luck with the yard work!

  8. Thank you SO MUCH for the sub binder!!!

  9. I love the bubblegum unit - added to my wish list - I bet the kiddos will love it too!

  10. Haha I'm that same way! I pay for a gym membership and haven't gone in forever! I just want the pounds to magically fall off me without having to do the work! I'd say yard work is a workout in itself! :)

  12. Hi!

  13. Your TpT products look awesome! Looks like you've been very productive lately with that AND all your yard work! Super ambitious! Congrats getting back into working out! Right now I'm stuck in the "I'll start tomorrow" rut! I need ambition to get started!

  14. I love your editable sub binder!! How did you make a document that includes a PDF and powerpoint? That is awesome! Your bubble gum activity is amazing too. My students loved the abc countdown calendar this year and this will be a repeat activity every year. Thanks so much for your creativity!!
